Biscuit salami - and the recipe with my Mom's handwriting

500g biscuits
375ml water
150g sugar
100g butter
4 tbsp cocoa
vanilla extract
rum essence

Crush the biscuits.
Crush the biscuits

Add the water to a pot and leave it simmer, without mixing; add the sugar.
3 minutes after you see bubbles form on the sides of the pot, add the butter and leave the mix simmer for 3 minutes more.
Remove the pot from the heat and add a drop of vanilla extract and a drop of rum essence.
Mix in the cocoa and then start mixing in the crushed biscuits.
You will obtain a paste-like consistency; transfer it onto a plastic wrap and shape it into a salami.
Shape the paste into a salami

Chill in the fridge overnight, slice in the morning, and... enjoy!
