Vanilla gelato
Makes 350g of
gelato
2 egg yolks
½ sachet
vanilla sugar
100g powdered
sugar
300ml milk
lemon zest
orange zest
This was the homemade gelato of my
childhood.
Mix the egg yolks, the powdered
sugar, the vanilla sugar, a bit of lemon zest, and a bit of orange zest. Pour
in the milk.
Put the bowl (I used a metallic
bowl) onto a water bath and mix until the batter thickens.
Leave it cool, pour it into the
gelato machine, or leave it in the freezer for at least 1 hour.
From today on, my love is also
addicted to the taste of this gelato. It is sooooo creamy!
