Sea buckthorn compote

Because it’s still a bit cold in our native Romania – even though spring has come –, another sea buckthorn recipe may come in handy. Simple, tasty, and healthy.

 

Let

300ml water

30g sea buckthorn

simmer for 1 hour (I don’t remove the tails, I just wash the berries).

Remove from the heat and add as much sugar as you like.

 

The two portions can be served warm or cold.
