Açaí sorbet
2 portions
3 tbsp açaí powder
125ml water
35g sugar
15g powdered milk
1 banana
Açaí
is an Amazonian fruit, holding a lot of health benefits for us. It is hard to get
it fresh from Brazil, so we bought it as a powder (outside Brazil, you can buy
it from stores selling organic products). In northern Brazil, I used to eat it
with nuts, seeds, and bananas, but in southern Brazil powdered milk was king.
So,
here’s this healthy dessert recipe – very filling, too, if I may add.
Mix
the açaí powder, the water, and the sugar.
Pour the mix into the ice cream
machine or leave in the freezer for a few hours.
Grab
a cup: 1 layer of açaí sorbet + 5g of powdered milk + 1 layer of açaí sorbet +
5g of powdered milk + 1 layer of açaí sorbet + 5g of powdered milk + banana
slices (you can add more after you eat them).
